ACCESS Family Care – Paid On-the-Job Training

At ACCESS Family Care, we believe in hiring people with potential and developing them into skilled professionals. Many dental assistants attend formal training programs before entering the workforce. Those programs can cost $3,000–$12,000 or more and often require months of unpaid classroom time.

Instead of requiring outside schooling, ACCESS Family Care provides paid, hands-on training that allows you to build a professional skillset while working as part of the care team.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during patient examinations and procedures
• Prepare, sterilize, and maintain instruments and equipment
• Take and record patient medical histories and vital signs as directed
• Provide patient education and support
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
• Document services accurately in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Previous dental experience is helpful but not required
• Reliable transportation to commute to clinics as needed to provide coverage
• Proficient in English/Spanish, a plus
