Job Summary
Our Dental Group is currently seeking potential employees for two available full-time positions: Dental Assistant and Front Desk Clerk.
For the Dental Assistant position, the required schedule is Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. Please note that these days are not negotiable. Applicants must be able to work efficiently in a high-volume office environment.
For the Front Desk Clerk position, the schedule is Monday through Friday. Fluency in Spanish is a requirement for this role. Candidates must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. While a knowledge of dentistry is a plus, we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities for the Dental Assistant/ Front Desk
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and manage appointment scheduling using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Open Dental.
- Assist dentists during various procedures including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and other specialties by preparing instruments and materials.
- Take X-rays while maintaining proper aseptic technique and infection control standards.
- Record, medical history, and update patient records accurately in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Manage front desk duties such as answering phones, confirming appointments, processing payments, and handling patient inquiries with professionalism.
- Support clinical staff with chairside assisting during procedures like dental terminology explanations or anatomy-related tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized treatment area ensuring all infection control protocols are followed diligently.
- Utilize dental software like Open Dental for scheduling, billing, coding procedures accurately using dental coding standards.
- Perform routine sterilization of instruments and ensure all equipment such as computers, printers and scanners are properly maintained.
- Assist with patient education on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions.
- Experience working in a fast-paced dental clinic environment with a focus on general dentistry or specialized fields like prosthodontics or endodontics is preferred.
