Dental Assistant / Front Desk Floater

Location: Houston, TX 77068
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17–$20 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Every other Mon, Tues-Fri, every other Sat

We are looking for a Dental Assistant / Front Desk Floater to join our dental office in the Houston 77068 area.

This role is mainly front desk support, with some dental assisting help as needed on busy days. The ideal person is friendly, dependable, organized, and comfortable talking with patients.

Our office philosophy is to use advanced dental technology to improve the patient experience and make dentistry more comfortable, efficient, and modern. We are a growing office, so we are looking for someone who is open to learning, adapting to new systems, and helping us improve.

We also have a monthly bonus system that rewards the team when the office performs well.

Responsibilities include:

• Making recall calls
• Answering phones and scheduling patients
• Verifying dental insurance
• Helping with simple treatment plan explanations
• Confirming appointments
• Helping with check-in and check-out when needed
• Assisting dental assistants during busy days
• Helping seat patients, turn over rooms, and support office flow

Requirements:

• Dental office experience preferred
• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Comfortable making phone calls
• Friendly and professional with patients
• Able to multitask
• Open to learning new systems and adapting as the office grows
• Willing to help wherever needed

Preferred but not required:

• Open Dental experience
• Bilingual (Spanish or Vietnamese)
• Registered Dental Assistant license
• Tech Savvy
