About the Role

Jax Beaches Family Dentistry is hiring a full-time Dental Assistant to join our established, privately owned practice. We’ve served the Beaches community for 30+ years, and our team is known for being organized, supportive, and committed to doing things the right way.

Schedule

• Full-time, typically 34–40 hours/week
• Hours fall between 7:00am–6:00pm
• Monday–Friday only — no weekends
• Schedules provided in advance

Compensation

• $22.50–$27.00 per hour, based on experience and certifications
• Bonus potential

Primary Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures
• Capture digital X-rays, scans, impressions, and intraoral photos
• Prepare rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain infection control standards
• Support patients with communication and treatment coordination
• Manage lab cases and documentation
• Contribute to a smooth, efficient clinical flow each day

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred (2+ years ideal)
• BUT we will also train the right person who is motivated, dependable, and eager to learn
• Current dental radiology/X-ray certification (preferred)
• RDA certification required
• Strong communication skills and a team‑first mindset

Preferred Skills

• Surgical assisting experience
• Familiarity with Eaglesoft, iTero, CEREC, or similar digital systems
