Dental Assistant, General Dentistry

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team at a reputable dental clinic. The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare to patients while ensuring a safe and efficient clinical environment.

Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during dental procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Prepare and sterilize instruments following aseptic techniques
- Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans as needed
- Record patient medical histories and treatment information accurately
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure a clean and organized clinical area
- Provide chair-side assistance for various dental treatments including pediatric procedures

Requirements
- Proven experience working as a Dental Assistant in a dental clinic setting
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques and equipment operation
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
- Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
- Certification in Dental Assisting required

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
