Dental Assistant (On-The-Job Training Available)

Dental Assistant - Full Time (Will Train the right candidate)

Our practice is seeking a motivated, conscientious, and dependable candidate to train as a Dental Assistant to support our Dentists in delivering exceptional care in the Claremont NH. Will pay for one-time cost of X-Ray Certification as well!

Responsibilities:

• Strive to provide the best patient experience
• Support and Assist dentist chairside with clinical treatment of patients.
• Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records
• Listen, empathize and address all patient concerns
• Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.
• Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.
• Take radiographs/x-rays
• Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.

Qualifications:

• No experience necessary - will provide on-the-job training and one-time cost of X-ray Certification.
• Well versed in dental terminology and procedures
• Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients
• Maintain compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA, and CE training).
• Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
