Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)

We are seeking a Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Dental Auxiliary (EFDA) who is reliable, motivated, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional patient experience. About Our Office:

We focus on comprehensive care with an emphasis on:

• Cosmetic dentistry
• Laser dentistry (including soft tissue and facial esthetics)
• Digital workflows (intraoral scanner, CBCT)
• Patient comfort and relationship-based care

Responsibilities include:

• Assist the doctor during a wide range of procedures
• Take digital X-rays and intraoral scans
• Prepare and break down operatories efficiently
• Maintain sterilization protocols
• Educate patients on treatment and post-op care
• For EFDA: place restorations and perform expanded duties as permitted

Qualifications:

Required:

• Dental assisting experience
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Positive attitude and team mindset

Preferred (but not required):

• EFDA certification (Ohio)
• Experience with digital scanning and/or CBCT
• Experience with Dentrix Ascend

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $39.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Dental Assisting: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
