Dental Assistant - Part time

Our growing practice is looking to add a Part-Time responsible Dental Assistant who's interested in afternoons and Fridays (2 to 3 per month). Are you organized, self-motivated, full of energy and always looking to learn new things?

Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for diagnosis and treatment
• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures which will also include: orthodontics, implants & oral surgery (implant knowledge is required)
• Set up and breakdown operatory post treatment
• Take dental radiographs (x-rays)CBCT, digital radiographs and intra oral scanning
• Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
• Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral health
• Perform various office tasks as necessary

Minimum Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Dental Certification is a Plus
• Implant knowledge is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
