Part-Time Dental Assistant (Fridays Only)

We are seeking a professional, dependable, and patient-focused Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice on a part-time basis, working Fridays only. This position has the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing excellent clinical support and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for patient care
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments in compliance with OSHA and infection control standards
• Take digital X-rays and update patient records accurately
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
• Support the clinical team with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

• Previous dental assisting experience preferred
• Current X-ray certification required (if applicable)
• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and reliability
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
