Overview
We are a small, independently owned, single dentist practice. We have been serving the local community for 20+ years.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials, ensuring all equipment is ready for efficient patient care
- Assist dentist during a variety of procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Perform chairside assisting with aseptic technique, vital signs measurement, and medical documentation to support safe procedures
- Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care, and answer their questions with professionalism and empathy
- Support infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized clinic environment following OSHA standards
Skills
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology to communicate effectively within the team
- Experience with medical imaging techniques such as X-ray and 3D scanner technology to assist in comprehensive diagnostics
- Skilled in chairside assisting techniques across general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry settings
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment and monitor patient comfort during procedures
- Familiarity with infection control practices and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety
- Excellent communication skills as a dental receptionist to coordinate appointments and manage patient flow effectively
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
