This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, can stay calm and upbeat in high-energy situations, and takes pride in providing excellent patient experiences for both kids and parents.

We value attitude, consistency, and teamwork as much as clinical skills. The right candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a pediatric environment.

  • Assist the dentist during exams and dental procedures
  • Take dental X-rays (certification required or willingness to obtain)
  • Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups

  • Perform instrument sterilization following infection control guidelines
  • Maintain and organize patient records accurately and efficiently
  • Support behavior guidance techniques, including use of papoose when necessary
  • Collaborate closely with clinical and front office staff to keep patient flow smooth and efficient
  • Assist with front office tasks during downtime (chart organization, scheduling support)
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn new skills as the practice grows

What We’re Looking For

  • Dental Assistant experience preferred; motivated entry-level candidates welcome
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish) is required
  • X-ray certification or willingness to obtain promptly
  • Comfortable working with children of all ages, including anxious or uncooperative patients
  • Calm, patient, and positive demeanor in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong chairside manner and communication skills with both kids and parents
  • Reliable, punctual, and professional
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic
