Dental Assistant – Periodontal & Implant Specialty Practice (Manhattan)

Our growing periodontal and implant specialty practice in Manhattan is seeking a motivated, professional, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Assist periodontists during surgical and non-surgical procedures
• Prepare and disinfect operatories
• Sterilize instruments and maintain OSHA compliance
• Take digital radiographs and CBCT scans
• Set up surgical trays and maintain inventory
• Assist with implant, grafting, laser, and periodontal procedures
• Educate patients on post-operative instructions and oral hygiene
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation
• Help create a smooth, positive patient experience

Qualifications

• Dental assisting experience preferred
• Periodontal or oral surgery experience is a plus, but willing to train the right candidate
• X-ray certification required
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Team-oriented mindset with attention to detail
