Dental Assistant - Private Practice

Excellent opportunity for an experienced chairside dental assistant looking to join an established, PRIVATE + INDEPENDENT general dentistry team in Summerville, SC.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs), 715 to 5pm (530 on Wed, 4pm on Thurs)

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00/hour depending on experience and references.

Responsibilities

• Clinical chairside assisting in a fast-paced, well-organized general dentistry office (operative, crown & bridge, and some Endo)
• Oral surgery (simple and surgical extractions, implant placement, bone grafting/sinus augmentation)
• Removable dentures/partials
• Radiographs + Intraoral Scanning
• Charting, records, and scheduling support (We use Dentrix)
• Instrument sterilization and maintenance of a clean, comfortable and OSHA-approved clinical environment
• Building trust and explaining treatment in a confident and genuinely caring manner

Compensation based on experience level, job history, & positive references. 2 years clinical dental assisting experience preferred along with XRay Certification. Dentrix experience preferred, but not required.
