Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) starting at $37 per hour! In this energetic role, you will be the backbone of our patient care experience, providing exceptional support to our dentists and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Whether working in general dentistry or specialized fields like prosthodontics and endodontics, you’ll be a vital part of creating healthy, beautiful smiles every day.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including restorative, prosthodontic, endodontic, and pediatric treatments, using four-handed dentistry techniques to maximize efficiency.
• Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials, maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Ensuring accurate medical imaging for diagnosis.
• Manage patient records using EMR systems such as EasyDental, ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate medical documentation.
• Assist with dental terminology explanations to help patients understand their treatments clearly.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments with the dental receptionist and updating medical records in Epic or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Valid RDA license or certification with proven experience in dental assisting within a busy clinical environment.
• Proficiency in EMR systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with Epic is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, anatomy, and dental terminology.
• Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely and accurately; familiarity with medical imaging technology including 3D scanners preferred.
• Experience working in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry environments; knowledge of pediatric-specific procedures is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills to explain procedures using medical terminology clearly to patients of all ages.
