$18 – $22 per hour (DOE)

Overview

Yosemite Dental Care is actively hiring a Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our modern, patient-focused practice in Oakhurst, CA.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment and is interested in growing their skills while assisting an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA). We offer a supportive atmosphere and the opportunity to transition into a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting for dentist and EFDA
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories
• Take dental x-rays (RDA or as permitted)
• Maintain accurate patient records and charts
• Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Follow OSHA and infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)
• X-ray certification (preferred for DA; required for RDA)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced dental environment
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate

Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus)

• Experience assisting with expanded functions procedures
• Dentrix Ascend or similar dental software experience
• Coronal polishing certification
