Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Assist dentists during a variety of procedures including restorative, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry, providing chairside support with precision and efficiency.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-ray) while adhering to HIPAA regulations and safety standards to ensure patient safety.
• Manage patient records by updating medical documentation, medical records, and ensuring accurate medical coding within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
• Measure vital signs and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures, demonstrating knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology to support comprehensive care.
• Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, greeting patients as a dental receptionist, verifying insurance information, and managing medical documentation within EMR systems like Epic or Dentrix.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following infection control guidelines and sterilization procedures aligned with OSHA standards.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
