Dental Assistant - Willing to train!

Advanced Orthodontics in Wisconsin is looking to hire a new Dental Assistant! We are a private practice with 3 beautiful locations in Madison, Waunakee, and Dodgeville.

Position is full-time that offers stability and excellent benefits. We would like to find someone that would like to grow their career within orthodontics. Dental Assistant Certification is required for this position, but we are willing to train all needed ortho skills to the right person that shows excellent work ethics and a commitment to learning while being there for scheduled shifts.

Estimated Starting Pay Scale: $17-$20/hr. but negotiable and flexible based on experience

Position Schedule: (Full-time - Must be able to work all days and hours listed below)

• Monday 8am-5pm (Madison)
• Tuesday 8am-5pm (Waunakee)
• Wednesday 8am-5pm (Dodgeville)
• Thursday 8am-5pm (Madison)
• Friday 8am-12pm (Madison with some flexibility in the morning)

Our ideal candidate would possess the following:

• Dental Assistant certification completed
• No experience required as we are willing to train all needed skills for the right individual
• Excellent work ethics: showing up for scheduled shifts and being punctual and ready to start your work day
• Excellent transportation (We would prefer someone that lives reasonably near the practices)
• Want someone that is committed with excellent verifiable long-term past employment
• Outgoing and personable
• Reliable and punctual (Need someone that will be able to work ALL needed days and times listed above.)
• Team oriented but also able to work independently
• Adaptable and trainable
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment
• Able to work with all types of personality types
• Superior communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Must be excited about new technology including iTero
• Positive attitude and a great sense of humor a must!
• Focus Ortho management and Dolphin Imaging a plus but not required
• Bi-lingual in Spanish a plus but NOT required

Orthodontic Dental Assistant duties include but not limited to:

• Chairside assisting
• Sterilization
• Setting up trays
• Direct bonding
• iTero scanning
• Sterilization (PPE)
• Arch wire changes
• Fitting bands
• Placing Invisalign attachments
• Mixing cement
• Packing equipment for travel
• Charting using Focus Ortho
• X-rays
• Educating for all sorts of procedures
• Any/all other duties asked by doctor or management

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
