Dental Assistant with X-Ray License and Experience Required

Full-Time Dental Assistant — Monday to Saturday

We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Dental Assistant to join our team in Santa Monica. This role requires full-time availability. If you’re a motivated self-starter with strong clinical skills and a great work ethic, we’d love to connect with you.

Compensation

• Hourly Pay: We pay hourly depending on experience, with consistent full-time hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts across our offices based on performance and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome patients and ensure a comfortable experience
• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures
• Take x-rays and impressions
• Maintain strict sterilization protocols and a clean operatory
• Monitor supplies and lab cases
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly logs
• Call in prescriptions as directed
• Provide clear and accurate post-operative instructions
• Document clinical notes precisely and thoroughly
• Perform additional tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a dental practice
• High School Diploma or GED (dental assisting certification preferred)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience with Diamond Dental, Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar dental software
• Current Hep B, 8-Hour Infection Control Certification, California X-ray License, and CPR/BLS
• Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently on Saturdays
