DENTAL ASSISTANT/FRONT DESK - PASADENA, TX

Our Scarsdale dental office currently has an entry level opportunity for 1-2 persons to join our team. You will cover all front office duties and cross train for dental assisting duties or vice versa. Due to the demographic of our patients, you must be SPANISH/ENGLISH BILINGUAL fluently in order to satisfactorily perform this job.

Ideal candidate should be mature, super friendly, on-time, have excellent in-person customer service, be hardworking, reliable, motivated and be able to keep the office running smoothly without constant direction or supervision. Be prepared to work at a fast pace even under pressure; amenable to any directives or criticism from coworkers/peers.

This can be a full-time or part-time job, but working 2-3 Saturdays a month is required. Dental or medical experience a plus, but WILLING TO PROVIDE ON THE JOB TRAINING to the RIGHT PERSON.

Candidates willing and able to fulfill a 2+ day paid working interview ($10/Hr) at our office will be preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Translate between English and Spanish with accuracy and proficiency
• You must be a self-starter, always take initiative and do not slack off
• Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient
• Have own, reliable transportation to & from work. This mean not being dependent on someone else dropping off & picking you up from work.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent)
• Type minimum of 45 wpm and possess basic computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Punctual, Dependable, and Reliable; Rarely late or calls in
• 1+ year experience in a healthcare setting or at least 3 yrs office work experience is a plus
• Pay Rate is commensurate upon experience

WORK SCHEDULE

Mon-Fri 9:30am-3:30pm

Saturdays 9:30am-1:00pm
