Dental Assistant/Hygiene Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist and/or Hygienist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and trimming models
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized dental operatory

Skills:
- Proficiency in Dentrix
- Knowledge of dentistry principles and techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain medical imaging equipment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental/hygiene assisting techniques and procedures
- Proficient in-patient assessment and charting
- Solid understanding of dental anatomy

As a Dental/Hygiene Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients.
