We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our vibrant dental practice. Duties
- Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and schedule appointments using Open Dental.
- Assist dental providers during procedures by preparing treatment rooms and managing dental supplies with precision
- Collect payments, process medical and dental billing, and perform insurance verification including CPT coding, and documentation review
- Maintain accurate patient records, update health information management systems, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette; handle appointment scheduling and patient inquiries efficiently
- Support medical administrative tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing electronic health records
- Facilitate intake processes for new patients and assist with clinic operations to optimize patient flow and office management

- Prior clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with insurance verification and medical billing processes is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive information discreetly while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines
