Dental Assistant (Dual Role: Clinical + Front Desk) – Part-Time

Coastal Periodontics is a high-quality, private specialty practice in Lake Jackson, TX

seeking a part-time Dental Assistant who is confident working in both clinical and front

office roles. This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a

We are looking to hire ASAP and are seeking someone who brings energy, flexibility,

and a solution-based mindset to our team.

Position Details

 Part-time: 24–26 hours per week

 3 days per week (schedule varies based on doctor’s schedule)

 Must be flexible with working days each week

 Competitive pay based on experience

What You’ll Do

This is a dual-role position, assisting wherever needed:

 Chairside assisting for periodontal and surgical procedures

 Taking dental X-rays and assisting with CBCT scans

 Sterilization and operatory setup/breakdown

 Supporting front desk as needed:

o Answering phones

o Scheduling patients

o Patient check-in/check-out

 Maintaining flow and efficiency throughout the office

 Jumping in wherever needed to support the team

What We’re Looking For

 Dental assisting experience (periodontal and/or surgical experience preferred)

 Experience with Eagle soft software is a plus

 Strong knowledge of dental procedures and workflow

 Excellent communication and phone skills

 Highly organized with strong multitasking ability

 Fast-paced, high-energy work style

 A team player who is willing to float between front and back

 A leader with a positive, motivating attitude who helps maintain strong team

morale
