Dental Assistant/Steri Tech - Experience Required

We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional patient care.

Duties

• Assist the dentist during various procedures, including prosthodontics and general dentistry tasks.
• Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during treatments.
• Take and develop X-rays as required, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records for each patient.
• Implement infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and setting up necessary materials.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure high-quality patient care and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must have experience working as a dental assistant
• Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology is essential.
• Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software is preferred.
• Familiarity with medical documentation processes and infection control standards.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
