Dental Call Center Representative - Remote

Harrison Dental Group is a growing, family-owned private dental practice with multiple locations in Fort Wayne, IN. We focus on delivering comprehensive dental care with compassion and outstanding customer service to patients of all ages. Each of our state-of-the-art offices features digital records, digital x-rays, modern technology, and inviting, well-designed facilities.

As a Call Center Representative at Harrison Dental Group, you will be providing services such as:

  • Answering patient calls and responding to voicemails in a timely manner.
  • Schedule, reschedule, or cancel appointments as needed.
  • Gathering proper insurance information for verification.
  • Attend mandatory meetings applicable to your job description.
  • Respond within assigned patient communication programs (Einstein, Simplify, etc.)
  • Rotate weekend correspondence from patients regarding their appointments.
  • Assist in training of new staff, remedial training of existing staff.
  • Have a positive attitude about the practice and the services provided.
  • Work through appointment confirmations based on guidelines.

Call Center Representative Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Certification in office administration, or related fields is advantageous.
  • Proven experience working in a dental office preferred.
  • Some knowledge of dental terminology.
  • Good telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Preferred:

  • Well organized, diligent, and good computer skills.
  • Experience in dental industry practices.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and to perform assignments to completely within time parameters.
  • Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other employees, patients, organizations and the public.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in writing, over the phone, and in person.
  • Maintain compliance with Federal, State, and payer regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Be service-oriented with the ability to pay attention to details in a fast-paced

This position is scheduled Monday through Friday for approximately 40 hours per week, with flexibility in required hours. After completion of in-office training, the role will transition to a remote position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
