ü Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
ü Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and treatment room utilization by scheduling appointments in person or by telephone.
ü Keeps patient appointments on schedule by notifying provider of patient's arrival; reviewing service delivery compared to schedule; reminding provider of service delays.
ü Comforts patients by anticipating patients' anxieties; answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area neat and pleasant.
ü Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.
ü Helps patients in distress by responding properly to emergencies.
ü Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes.
ü Should take care of all registrations and billing procedures pertaining to patients irrespective of cash or insurance patients.
ü To register the patient for seeing the concerned doctor without any delay.
ü To bill the respective medicines and procedures as prescribed by the doctor.
ü To admit and discharge the patients on timely based on treating doctor’s instruction.
ü To clearly communicate to patients regarding the instructions and formalities related to registration, billing, admission and discharge.
ü To take care of the new registrations as well as follow up visits
ü The cash which receives at the reception should be handed over to the accounts department or to the concerned person on a daily basis.
ü A list of telephone numbers of all doctors and the staffs working in the Center should be available at the reception.
ü To reserve and maintain a time-slot for patients who ask for an urgent appointment due to unavoidable circumstances.
ü Maintain a computerized patient appointment system to book, switch and cancel appointments
ü General administration tasks such as photocopying, scanning and printing the necessary documents, and responding to emails and patient inquiries on time.
ü Follow all the given tasks by the management/ governing board
ü To facilitate effective communication mechanisms with all public and professional users either face to face, over telephone and in writing or by electronic mediums.
ü Keep the medical records and daily reports, department records and forms related to policies and procedures safe and secured
ü To be responsible for the center’s electronic gadgets like mobile phone, tablet and other devices using in the reception and waiting area
ü Open and close the center according to center’s protocol
ü Check the next day’s appointments and inform the doctors on a regular basis
ü Answer and respond to telephone calls with professionalism
ü Handle patient complaints under the supervision of center manager
ü Assist in the treatment room as needed especially in case of vulnerable patients
ü Prepare and organize insurance claim forms with supporting materials such radiographs and written narratives from the concerned doctor, and submit it to the insurance firm.
ü Prepare the monthly payment reports.
Pay: BD300.000 - BD350.000 per month
