We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Chairside Assistant to join our advanced dental practice. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering a premium patient experience. This role involves assisting in general dentistry, implant surgeries, and cosmetic procedures including smile designing, while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care and sterilization.

Key Responsibilities:Chairside Assistance

• Assist dentists and specialists during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorations, RCT, extractions, crown & bridge work, aligner procedures, and pediatric dental care.
• Provide active chairside support during implant surgeries, ensuring proper instrument handling, sterile field maintenance, and coordination with the surgical team.
• Assist in cosmetic dentistry procedures, including veneer preparations, smile design workflows, digital scans, shade selection, and photographic protocols.
• Prepare treatment rooms before procedures and ensure they are clean, organized, and fully equipped afterwards.

Clinical Support

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments following strict infection control protocols.
• Set up trays, materials, and equipment as per procedural requirements.
• Take and assist in intraoral and extraoral photographs, videos, and digital documentation for smile designing and treatment planning.
• Manage intraoral scanners, impression materials, and lab coordination when required.
• Maintain patient records and support the doctor with digital charting.

Patient Management

• Welcome patients, escort them to the operatory, and ensure comfort throughout their visit.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative instructions clearly and empathetically.
• Assist in monitoring patient recovery during minor surgical procedures.
• Answer basic patient queries related to clinical processes.

Operational Duties

• Track and manage dental materials, inventory, and surgical kits.
• Coordinate with the in-house lab for cases related to implants, crown & bridge, veneers, and aligners.
• Ensure all implant components, sutures, biomaterials, and consumables are prepared well in advance for surgeries.
• Support smooth clinical workflow and communicate effectively with the team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a dental assistant (freshers with strong willingness to learn may be considered).
• Knowledge of dental instruments, materials, and sterilization techniques.
• Experience or training in implant dentistry and cosmetic dentistry is an advantage.
• Good communication skills, patient-friendly behavior, and a professional approach.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work in a fast-paced environment.
