Job Description:
Yash Dental Clinic is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Duty Doctor (BDS) to join our team at Adyar . As a Duty Doctor with a dental background, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services to our patients in coordination with our dental specialists.
Responsibilities:
- Provide primary healthcare services to patients visiting the dental clinic.
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and examinations to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients in consultation with dental specialists.
- Perform minor dental procedures such as dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing.
- Administer local anesthesia and dental medications as required.
- Educate patients about oral hygiene practices, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records and patient charts.
- Coordinate with the dental team to ensure integrated patient care.
- Handle dental emergencies and provide immediate interventions as necessary.
- Follow standard protocols for infection control and sterilization procedures.
- Participate in dental health promotion activities and community outreach programs.
- Assist in training and supervising dental assistants and support staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed for interdisciplinary patient care.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a recognized institution.
- Valid dental license to practice in India.
- Proven experience as a Duty Doctor in a dental clinic or similar healthcare setting.
- Excellent clinical skills with proficiency in diagnosing and treating dental conditions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach towards healthcare delivery.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Proficiency in computer skills for managing electronic dental records.
