Dental Front Desk Assistant

We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our family and pediatric dental practice in Coronado as a full-time Front Desk Assistant!

Compensation & Benefits:Hourly rate $25 - 28/hr

The position entails multiple responsibilities while enhancing the practice’s culture and patient-first mentality that we deeply believe in. Our future colleague must have experience in dentistry and must be able to perform the duties described.

*Required Qualification - At least 2 - 5 years of experience in a dental office setting/dental front office.*

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
• Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
• Preparing patients’ charts and daily schedules for the dental staff.
• Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders.
• Communicating with medical insurance providers to determine if patients are required to make co-payments.
• Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
• Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
