Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming VOIP phone calls promptly and professionally
- Schedule and manage a full schedule for 1 doctor and 1 hygienist
- Confirm patient appointments and verify insurance benefits
- Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records
- Collect payments at time of service
- Maintain accounts receivable (A/R) standards
- Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims and appeals
- Discuss treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients
- Assist clinically when needed (e.g., high-speed suction)
- Attend occasional training seminars (may require brief air travel)
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Dental office experience (preferred but not required)
- Experience with dental practice management software (preferred)
- Ability to pass a background check (required)
Skills & Traits
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable discussing finances and treatment plans
- Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
- Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Sales or case presentation experience is a plus
Additional Requirements
- Must be able to commute to Melbourne, FL (in-person position)
- English proficiency required
- Associate's degree preferred
