Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming VOIP phone calls promptly and professionally
  • Schedule and manage a full schedule for 1 doctor and 1 hygienist
  • Confirm patient appointments and verify insurance benefits
  • Register new patients and maintain accurate patient records
  • Collect payments at time of service
  • Maintain accounts receivable (A/R) standards
  • Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims and appeals
  • Discuss treatment plans and financial arrangements with patients
  • Assist clinically when needed (e.g., high-speed suction)
  • Attend occasional training seminars (may require brief air travel)

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Dental office experience (preferred but not required)
  • Experience with dental practice management software (preferred)
  • Ability to pass a background check (required)

Skills & Traits

  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Comfortable discussing finances and treatment plans
  • Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Sales or case presentation experience is a plus

Additional Requirements

  • Must be able to commute to Melbourne, FL (in-person position)
  • English proficiency required
  • Associate's degree preferred
