Dental front Desk Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and professionally, providing outstanding customer service at all times
  • Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft
  • Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verifications with precision
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Collect payments, process dental billing and perform collections using systems like Eaglesoft billing.
  • Maintain organized dental records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
  • Answer multi-line phone systems promptly with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls efficiently
  • Review documentation for accuracy, including medical history forms, care plans, and treatment authorizations
  • Assist with administrative support tasks such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), and managing office supplies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in dental office administration and front desk roles; dental office experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, coding, and insurance procedures
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software like Eaglesoft
  • Ability to handle sensitive patient information in accordance with HIPAA standards with meticulous documentation review skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and strong organizational abilities
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations
  • Strong clerical skills including filing, faxing, and managing multi-line phone systems
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Discussing treatment plans and finances with patients.

Pay: $25.30 - $30.47 per hour
