Responsibilities
- Greet patients with warmth and enthusiasm — you set the tone for the visit
- Answer calls, provide helpful information, and assist with basic insurance questions
- Manage appointment scheduling using OpenDental, coordinating with clinical staff to optimize daily patient flow
- Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance claims processing
- Maintain accurate and organized patient records in electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness while managing filing of medical records and correspondence in accordance with HIPAA
- Participate in morning huddles with balance updates and scheduling priorities
Skills
- Proven experience in dental office administration or medical front desk support
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinic management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite including Word and Outlook
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor (bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations, but not required)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for documentation review and accurate data entry
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while managing sensitive patient information
Schedule
- Monday: 8:00am–5:00pm
- Tuesday: 7:30am–4:30pm
- Wednesday: 7:30am–4:30pm
- Thursday: 9:00am–6:00pm
- Friday–Sunday: OFF

- High school or equivalent (Required)
