Full-Time | Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm, two Fridays/month 8:30am-1:30pm
Salary: From $25 per hour

Gibberman Dental, a privately-owned, well-established, state-of-the-art, family and cosmetic dentistry practice is looking to add a full-time Treatment Coordinator to our office. We are looking for someone who is energetic, positive, organized, hardworking, and is excited about providing top-notch customer service to our patients. We are looking for someone who is a team player and is interested in career growth.

The Treatment Coordinator’s main job responsibility is to clearly explain treatment options and related costs. The Treatment Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient and assists in the gathering of information in the new patient experience, as well as coordinating a treatment plan with the doctor and presenting it to the patient. They are knowledgeable about the treatment and timelines, and they are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements with patients. This position requires basic understanding of math and calculation. The Treatment Coordinator exudes a calm and warm demeanor with patients who are otherwise anxious and concerned about how to afford dentistry. They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices who share in the care of patients, making sure referrals and correspondence are received and followed up on.

· Must be very organized, have attention to detail and great problem-solving skills, be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Greeting patients.

· Answering multiple phone lines.

· Check patients in/out.

· Patient intake.

· Schedule and confirm appointments.

· Fill openings in doctor and hygiene schedules.

· Verifying patients’ insurance benefits/eligibility.

· Collect patient balances as needed.

· Generate and present treatment plans.

· Various other front office tasks as assigned.

EXPERIENCE:

· Dental front office experience: 1-3 years (required)

· Dentrix experience: 1 year (required)

· Dental assistant 1-2 years (preferred)
