Dental Front Office Assistant

Advanced Orthodontics in Wisconsin is looking to hire a brand new front patient scheduling coordinator due to promoting our current to a new role! We are a private practice with 3 beautiful locations in Madison, Waunakee, and Dodgeville. Position is full-time that offers stability, excellent benefits and a friendly, positive work environment.

We are looking for someone that equally feels they can offer the same professionalism as they hope to receive when going to their own private dental practice. Our ideal candidate would have some prior orthodontic or dental front experience but are willing to train in all needed skills if you have current or prior front office receptionist / office administrative experience, recent long-term employment with excellent work references, and a personality that wows.

Estimated Starting Pay Scale: $17-$20/hr. (Hourly rate is based on overall dental and front experience plus training involved)

Position Schedule: (Full-time - Must be able to work all days plus locations and hours listed below.)

• Monday 8am-5pm (Madison)
• Tuesday 8am-5pm (Waunakee)
• Wednesday 8am-5pm (Dodgeville)
• Thursday 8am-5pm (Madison)
• Friday 8am-12pm (Madison with some flexibility in the morning)

Our ideal candidate would possess the following:

• 1-2+ dental or Orthodontic front office experience but willing to train all needed skills for the right individual has current front office receptionist or administrative experience.
• Be able to show up on time for your scheduled shift and all days scheduled
• Excellent transportation
• Professional
• Want someone that is committed with excellent verifiable long-term past employment
• Outgoing and personable (A people person)
• Reliable and punctual (Need someone that will be able to work ALL needed days and times and locations listed above plus be on time.)
• Team oriented but also able to work independently
• Adaptable and trainable
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment but also independently
• Able to work with all types of personality types and get along with everyone
• Superior communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Positive attitude and a great sense of humor a must!
• Focus Ortho management a plus but not required
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred but not required

Orthodontic Scheduling Coordinator duties include but not limited to:

• Scheduling patients
• Recalling patients
• Taking payments
• Verifying insurance as needed
• Answering phones
• Maintaining a clean waiting area
• Following all practice policies
• Keeping up with OSHA standards
• Checking email
• Any other duties assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
