Dental Front Office Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Dental Front Office Manager to lead the administrative operations of our dental practice. Responsibilities

Our small modern, family owned dental practice is seeking a full time upbeat front office receptionist and patient coordinator and that will help our office maintain its high practice performance and positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have dental office experience and positive, friendly personality. Hours are 7:30-5:30 Mon & Wed, and 7-5 Tues & Thurs.

Main job responsibilities include answering the phones/replying to texts and emails, scheduling appointments, collecting payment, managing A/R, Dr and Hygienist schedule management, managing collections and preparing daily deposits, verifying insurance benefits, and organize morning office huddles.

Qualities and skills, we are looking for in an employee would be as follows:

-Dental office experience (minimum 2 years)

-Experience verifying and handling insurance benefits/claims

-Positive attitude and willingness to learn

-Professional and kind with patients in person and over phone/ excellent communication skills

-Someone who will work well with others, we are a TEAM so this is important to find someone who fits with our family dynamic

-Has strong attention to detail and can multi-task

-Great work ethic and morals

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage all front office functions including patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, and patient communication to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Oversee billing processes, insurance claims, and collections using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily workflow, manage patient flow, and address any administrative issues promptly.
  • Monitor financial performance through budgeting, fiscal management, and resource allocation to meet practice goals.
  • Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations including JCAHO standards, HIPAA privacy rules, and managed care protocols.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in medical office management within a dental or healthcare setting; dental clinic experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong supervisory skills with previous experience managing administrative or medical office teams.
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software , but Open Dental familiarity is a bonus!!!
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA.
  • Demonstrated fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource planning.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
