We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic addition to our front office staff who is outgoing, hardworking, and passionate about helping others. The ideal candidate enjoys interacting with patients, working as part of a supportive team, and ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet all patients with a professional and friendly attitude (check-in and check-out)
- Answer phones, schedule and reschedule appointments
- Prepare and update patient charts for staff members
- Manage patient forms, scan documents, and maintain accurate records
- Present treatment plans and collect payments
- Communicate with insurance companies and document eligibility/breakdowns
- Transfer insurance information into Dentrix software
- Verify patient accounts and manage referrals
- Support providers and team members by ensuring smooth office flow
- Maintain a clean and welcoming waiting area
- Be cross-trained to assist clinically when needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Excellent customer service and patient care abilities
- Ability to perform a wide range of administrative duties to keep the office running efficiently
- Self-motivated, dependable, flexible, professional, and able to work independently
- Proficient with computers; experience with Microsoft Office required
- At least one year of dental office experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Experience with Dentrix software strongly preferred
- Ability to multitask while maintaining strong attention to detail
