Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Entry Level HR Assistant/Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about human resources and talent acquisition. As an Entry Level HR assistant/Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying and attracting top talent to meet the needs of our organization. You will work closely with the Human Resources Manager to assist in all HR functions of the business. Work with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a smooth recruitment process from sourcing to onboarding.
Duties
- Assist the HR manager in all HR functions within the company including but not limited to payroll, performance management, recruitment, and compliance.
- Conduct research to identify potential candidates through various channels, including social media, job boards, and networking events.
- Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the organization.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Assist in campus recruitment initiatives to attract recent graduates for entry-level positions.
- Support the onboarding process by coordinating employee orientation and ensuring a positive experience for new hires.
- Maintain compliance with employment and labor laws throughout the recruitment process.
- Participate in training and development initiatives for continuous improvement in recruiting practices.
- Source candidates using job boards, social media, networking, and direct outreach.
- Maintain a database of qualified dental professionals.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and dental practices.
- Build and maintain relationships with candidates and dental clinics.
- Stay informed on trends and requirements in the dental field.
- Any other tasks/duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with candidates and hiring managers.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques, talent management, and employee evaluation processes.
- Knowledge of technical recruiting practices is a plus, especially in relation to roles requiring specific skill sets.
- Proficiency in social media management for recruitment purposes.
- Ability to negotiate offers and manage contracts effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of the dental industry strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and recruiting platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Prior experience in sales, customer service, or healthcare staffing is a plus.
