Dental Hygeniest(Part-time: TUESDAY/THURSDAY, KOREAN PREFERRED)

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to provide high-quality preventive dental care and patient education. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other team members to promote oral health, prevent dental disease, and ensure a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis (teeth cleanings), periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing procedures.
• Conduct oral health assessments and document findings.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state regulations.
• Screen patients for signs of oral diseases, including periodontal disease and oral cancer.
• Record medical and dental histories and update patient records.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and treatment recommendations.
• Apply fluoride treatments, sealants, and other preventive agents.
• Assist dentists in diagnosing and treating dental conditions.
• Maintain infection control protocols and sterilization procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and applicable state dental board regulations.
• Manage patient appointments efficiently and provide exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with dental software and electronic health records preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $400.00 - $550.00 per day
