Dental Hygiene Assistant

North Point Dental Associates is looking for a Hygiene Assistant/Sterilization technician to join our team in High Point, NC! Looking for a team player who is excited about dentistry and provides excellent patient care. We are a fully digital practice with 2 dentists and 3 hygienists. Hygiene Assistants should be well-organized with great attention to detail. You should be able to follow instructions and respect dental office regulations. We want you to be skilled in providing direct or indirect patient care and able to make office procedures as smooth as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Taking intraoral/extraoral radiographs
• Breaking down and setting up operatories
• Reviewing treatment plans with patients
• Reviewing patient medical history
• Keeping the hygienists schedules filled
• Sterilizing instruments according to OSHA regulations
• Helping to stock supplies in operatories
• Patient education
• Assist during dental examinations

Requirements:

• DAI certification
• High school diploma
• X-ray certification
