Dental Hygienist

Job Summary

The ideal candidate is patient-centered, detail-oriented, and passionate about oral health.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take digital X-rays
• Conduct periodontal charting and assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Assist the doctor with exams and treatment planning

Experience

• Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a fast-paced dental office or clinic setting.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as Dentrix is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and general dentistry procedures.
• Ability to perform chairside assisting duties when needed, including documentation review and medical coding.
• Active Dental Hygienist license (CDH/RDH) in California preferred
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred (not required)

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
