We are a small, privately owned office located in Goodyear. We have great doctors and pride ourselves on providing great customer service to our patients! We are looking for a part-time hygienist to do Assisted Accelerated Hygiene and complete our talented staff.

Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Assist with chairside procedures such as applying sealants, fluoride treatments, and assisting during restorative or pediatric dentistry procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
- Follow strict infection control protocols, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures to ensure patient safety.
- Review documentation for accuracy, update medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Skills
- Proficiency in dental software systems such as Dentrix for scheduling, documentation, and billing.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding.
- Skilled in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.
- Ability to measure vital signs accurately and perform basic medical imaging procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach tailored to pediatric and general dentistry patients. Pay: $46.00 - $53.00 per hour
