Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! Duties

  • Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
  • Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to ensure safe and effective treatment.
  • Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and comfort.
  • Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment notes, and medical histories in electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing sensitive medical information properly.

Requirements

  • Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
  • Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably within general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments.
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and medical coding standards.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with diverse age groups, including pediatrics.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, vital signs measurement, and medical imaging procedures.

Pay: $58.00 - $62.00 per hour
