Dental Hygienist

Join our long term team as a 2 day a week (Monday and Tuesday) Dental Hygienist and become a vital part of delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic role, you will provide comprehensive dental hygiene services, educate patients on oral health, and support the overall efficiency of our dental practice. Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings us the EMS GBT protocols and equipment
• Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions to inform treatment plans.
• Use of diode laser for improved periodontal health
• Take and interpret medical imaging such as X-rays while maintaining strict infection control and aseptic techniques inlcuding CBCT
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to enhance their understanding and compliance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including documentation review and medical coding.
• Support infection control protocols by sterilizing instruments, managing medical records securely, and adhering to all safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
• Proven experience in dental office settings, preferably with exposure to general dentistry or pediatric dentistry environments.
• Proficiency in Dexis software preferred but not required
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems for accurate documentation review and data entry.

Pay: $42.14 - $50.75 per hour
