Dental Hygienist

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care and ensuring patient comfort. This position requires an understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for performing preventive dental care and educating patients on oral hygiene.

Duties

• Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations to assess oral health.
• Review patient documentation and medical history to ensure comprehensive care.
• Utilize Eaglesoft and other dental office systems for patient management and record-keeping.
• implementing cleanings, Sc/RP, FMD
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
• Take and document vital signs as part of patient assessments.
• Provide care for pediatric patients, ensuring their comfort and understanding throughout treatments.

Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygienist license in accordance with state regulations.
• Proficiency in Eaglesoft or similar dental office management systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of anatomy and infection control practices.
• Experience with documentation review to ensure accuracy in patient records.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $45.50 - $48.00 per hour
