Dental Hygienist

You can expect to...

• Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to maintain optimal oral health.
• Assess patient oral health status through visual examination and medical history review.
• Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays) while adhering to infection control protocols.
• Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency.
• Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration before procedures to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain accurate medical records, document treatment notes, and review documentation for completeness and accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

We are looking for...

• Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice.
• Proven experience in dental hygiene, preferably within general dentistry or pediatric dentistry settings.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Open Dental or Dentrix -- We can train you!!!
• Familiarity with medical imaging procedures and medical coding related to dental services.

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
