Dental Hygienist-Part time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in promoting oral health and ensuring a positive patient experience. This is a part time position for Tues or Thurs and if available for 1 Saturday a month

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures to maintain optimal oral health.
• Take and record vital signs, medical history, and dental assessments for patients.
• Conduct patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
• Assist with chairside procedures including medical imaging, documentation review, and medical coding. .
• Laser Certified- Preferred but not required

Requirements

• Valid Dental Hygiene license with current state licensure.
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and medical terminology.
