Dental Insurance Coordinator
Our General Dentist office is looking for a full-time Dental insurance coordinator. The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience at this position and knowledge of Softdent dental software is a big plus. We are located less than three blocks away from the Ballston metro station in Arlington, Virginia. Our office is open five days a week, which includes two Saturdays a month from 8 am to 1 pm (if we are open Saturday we are closed Friday of the same week)

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

• Greet and check in patients
• Answer phone calls and emails
• Schedule appointments and verify insurance
• Enter treatment plan and discuss treatment needs with patients
• Making financial arrangements
• Calculate copayments
• Post patient and insurance payments
• Create and submit insurance claims and predeterminations
• Tracking claims
• General office responsibilities
