RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate case planning throughout lab departments
  • Coordinate and participate in CAD/CAM processes - scanning, designing, manufacturing
  • Operate manufacturing equipment including milling machines, 3D printers, and sintering ovens
  • Meet tight deadlines, while consistently producing quality restorations
  • Read work prescriptions and examine cases to determine design of dental restoration
  • Fabricate crowns, bridges, and inlays/onlays
  • Read, interpret and design dental restorations to client's specifications by using a dental CAD
    software program
  • Communicate with clear and concise oral and written skills to effectively work with technicians and
    doctors

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Crown and Bridge Design in CAD/CAM technology
  • Certified Dental Technician (CDT) and three to five years related experience in the fabrication of
    crowns, bridges, and inlays/onlays is required; or equivalent combination of education and
    experience
  • Experience with 3Shape, Nobel, Exocad, and other desktop scanners and software
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM processes (i.e. Scanning, Designing, Manufacturing)
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment including milling machines, 3D printers, and sintering ovens
  • Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology
  • Experience in regulated environment preferred
  • Must have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, must work
    together and communicate with all other departments throughout the lab.
  • Additional attributes: Willing to learn, critical thinking, detail oriented, organized, and
    self-directed

  • $20 - $35 per hour depending on experience
