Round Rock Dental Group is seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate, and highly motivated Dental Office Administration Specialist to join our growing team. This position plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience while ensuring the efficient operation of our busy, technology-driven dental practice.
The ideal candidate is positive attitude, patient-focused, results-driven, and possesses strong communication skills, dental insurance knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and outstanding organizational and time management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional and welcoming manner
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Present treatment plans and explain patient financial responsibilities
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members
- Support daily front office operations and administrative functions
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of dental front office experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
- Familiarity with CDT coding and treatment planning
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Positive attitude and commitment to outstanding customer service
