Dental Office Manager/Treatment Coordinator

Duties

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient scheduling, patient flow, and staff coordination to maximize productivity and patient satisfaction
  • Coordinate treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures clearly, addressing concerns, and securing treatment acceptance
  • Manage financial aspects including billing, coding accuracy, insurance claims processing, and patient payments to optimize revenue cycle management
  • Supervise administrative staff, providing leadership in human resources functions such as training, performance evaluations, and team development
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure the confidentiality and security of all medical records and electronic health records (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft.
  • Monitor clinic budgets and fiscal management activities to control costs while maintaining high-quality care standards
  • Facilitate communication between dental providers, patients, insurance companies, and external vendors to streamline operations and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with strong knowledge of medical office operations
  • Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft is highly desirable
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills with experience leading teams in a medical or dental setting
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and resource allocation effectively
  • Background in medical administrative support or healthcare management preferred; experience in acute care or hospital environments is a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff while maintaining professionalism under pressure
  • Knowledge of managed care processes and utilization management practices within healthcare settings
