Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Dental Front desk PSR/Treatment Coordinator to lead our dental practice with enthusiasm and precision. Duties
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional patient service
- Coordinate patient treatment plans, explaining procedures and financial options clearly and confidently
- Manage scheduling, patient flow, and appointment confirmations to maximize productivity
- Handle billing, coding, insurance claims processing, and collections using Curve
- Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information
- Monitor practice finances through budgeting, fiscal management, and financial reporting to optimize revenue streams
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards such as JCAHO requirements and OSHA regulations
- Support human resources functions including hiring, onboarding, staff development, and conflict resolution
- Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks to manage patient data efficiently
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support medical management initiatives and acute care protocols when necessary
- Implement clinic policies to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
Experience
- Proven experience managing a dental or medical office environment with a strong understanding of dental office workflows
- Demonstrated supervisory experience overseeing administrative or clinical teams in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix; experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or eClinicalWorks preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations including JCAHO standards
- Background in fiscal management including budgeting, financial analysis, managed care billing, and revenue cycle management
- Experience supporting medical administrative functions such as insurance processing, coding accuracy, and collections strategies
- Familiarity with clinic operations involving acute care or hospital experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills for effective treatment coordination and team leadership
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving healthcare policies while maintaining high standards of patient care
